2020 Sheep Gathering Residency (and aurora return)

Every September, Icelandic farmers embark on the annual tradition of scaling mountains to collect their sheep before the long and dark winter sets in. The sheep roundup, called réttir, is one of the most important events in Iceland's countryside. As the sunset arrives at 10pm, astronomical twilight reenters the fjord. The days are draw in to 14 hours of light, the grass has turned golden. You are welcome to witness to réttir and maybe even join if it you wish.
